Sarah Phifer

A native Memphian, Sarah Phifer teaches English at Saint Agnes Academy, her alma mater, where she works with the same instructors that helped foster her appreciation both for literature and for teaching. Though she teaches British Literature and Freshmen English at Saint Agnes, she taught post-Civil War American Literature and Freshmen Composition during her graduate studies at the University of Mississippi, where she focused on 20th Century and contemporary American Southern Literature. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of the South: Sewanee.
